Wa Al-Hamdulillah, the Board members are pleased to announce that by the Mercy of Allah and after almost four decades of struggle, Masjid Manhattan has purchased its own place of worship in downtown Manhattan.

By the mercy of Allah, Masjid Manhattan finally closed the deal to purchase five floors of the property located at 30 Cliff Street.This property is situated in one of the best locations in downtown Manhattan. It is near Wall St., in Manhattan's downtown Financial Center, close to City Hall, Manhattan South St. Seaport and to major public transportation (Fulton St/Broadway-Nassau station, the City Hall and Brooklyn Bridge stations and the under-construction Fulton St. /WTC Subway Hub).  Insha'Allah from this location Masjid Manhattan, once it opens its doors in its full capacity, will be able to provide our Muslim and non-Muslim community with:

• A location to open interfaith dialogs for better understanding of Islam
• An active Youth Center/ Islamic Learning Center to teach Q'uran and the teachings of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (p.b.u.h)
• Large praying halls to accommodate our growing community
• An Islamic library to provide Q'uran and D'awah Literature to non-Muslims
• An entire floor for the sisters' area
• A kitchen and dining area for Iftar during Ramadan

Current Need
Dear brothers and sisters in Islam, Allah has chosen us for this great test of building His House. Wa Al-Hamdulillah the biggest challenge has been conquered. BUT, the Masjid is still indebted for the remaining balance of $700,000 dollars. 

Therefore, now it is the time to join us in this journey and earn the rewards. Let's stand up together hand to hand and, Insha'Allah, we will complete our journey riba free and in accordance to the Islamic Shariah.
